This animation is very interesting. The shadowing and lines in the hand in each frame are nicely done. The negative is that in the last two frames, the thumb looks like a toe. More studying of the hand could be done, but other than that ... nicely done.
The flow of this is really good, none of the motions are too abrupt and they don't go too slowly. The shading kind of flattens the hand though because of the lack of light hitting the folds (wrinkles? I donno what to call them). If you go back in with a kneaded eraser that would help bring out some of the lights and make it pop more. Over all it looks pretty good though!
The lines in these gestures are very clean and solid. The consistency of these drawings contributes to the success of the gesture drawings. The fluid movement in the animation also contributes to its overall success. This animation could be a little more successful if line variation was incorporated.
